A CAMPAIGN initiated to support DESERT CHRISTIAN ACADEMY's campus master plan designed to bring greater impact for the future generations of Conquerors

For 47 years Desert Christian Academy has been a pillar of Christ-centered education for the Coachella Valley. Countless lives have been transformed and communities impacted for Christ by the thousands of students that have been educated on our campus over the years. Building on that strong foundation, God has given a fresh new vision for what can be accomplished in the lives of students for generations to come. This bold new vision includes an expanded campus with new and renovated facilities to meet the needs of Conquerors, both present and future.

MILESTONE I

The Lord provided $2.2M in recent years to begin the work of Milestone I of the Campaign. This essential milestone includes expanded parking, updated campus infrastructure, as well as a new baseball field and renovated softball facilities. An additional $800K is needed to finish this project. Milestone I is slated for completion in February of 2025.

MILESTONE II

DCA was founded by Dave and Julie Fulton in 1977. Their obedience and faith brought the first independent Christian School to the Coachella Valley and it has been a pillar for the Valley communities ever since. Milestone II of the Campaign is the construction of the $1.5M Dave and Julie Fulton Administration Building. This building will provide a new gateway to the DCA campus for future generations of Conquerors. Added onto the same administrative building where Dave and Julie spent decades leading and serving thousands of families, this new structure that connects the first three original campus buildings will bring a more secure entrance point through a double door entrance vestibule for both elementary and secondary students. Also included is a nurse’s station, visitor restrooms, and expanded front office access that will better serve our families. This building will also provide additional working and meeting spaces for the many parent, community, volunteer and leadership groups who make DCA the incredible place that it is.

MILESTONE III

One of the most pressing needs for DCA’s campus is a new facility for the preschool and more classroom space. Due to an incredible staff and leadership, the preschool has been thriving with outdated facilities for several years. Milestone III of the Campaign seeks to fund the renovation and entitlement of a recently acquired school owned house to a new preschool facility. Moving the preschool will allow DCA to remove the outdated modular buildings and replace them with a new permanent elementary classroom wing that will house four classrooms.
